Single Day Tickets
SFOG Full price tickets (when purchased at gate):
- general admission – $63.99
- children under 49″ – $43.99
- children 2 & under – free
However, I’d recommend buying tickets ahead of time online if you can. This will save you time at the gate because you can walk right up to the entrance to get your ticket scanned and you can purchase a ticket for less. Tickets purchased at least a day in advance can also lead to savings of up to $20. SFOG is also running a discount currently where all tickets used before August 3rd can be purchased for kids price. (Any tickets purchased online can be printed out or even stored on a phone so you can go straight to the scan turnstiles when you get there.)
For the past couple of summers, Coke has run a discount where select coke cans give you a promo to save money on tickets to SFOG (and SFWW). This promo code is “COKE” (without the quotes). The cans with the promo on them can also be taken to the park and brought to the ticket window to get a discount on the tickets purchased at the park. “COKE” can save you up to $21 at SFOG or $6 at SFWW. The can can save you up to $13 on tickets purchased at SFOG or $5 at SFWW.
It’s also a good idea to check on retailmenot for even steeper discounts. Current discounts include the previously mentioned “COKE” and the promo code “YOUTH” to purchase SFWW tickets for $31.99 each.
I always recommend trying out the promo code when you’re online to purchase just to see what the prices will be. Try multiple promo codes to see how you can get the best price. It often depends on the day you go as discounts are often slightly higher on weekdays over weekends. You can enter promo codes by clicking the words “enter promo code” in the top right of the tickets page.
Season Pass
If you plan to visit SFOG multiple times in a year, then the season pass may be the best option for you.

Miscellaneous
Six Flags is also partnered with Discover right now, so if you use your discover card to purchase tickets (online or at the park) and items in the park (such as food and merchandise) you can save 5%. Sometimes they offer cash back instead. This offer requires a discover card and may require you to sign up through your online discover account, but the extra savings doesn’t hurt, especially when buying food in the park.
